If you’re looking for options to scratch that itch that comes with playing Wordle, you have come to the right place.
We bring to you the ultimate list of games you can play online for free, while you wait for the next 23 hours and 55 minutes to pass 👇🏾
1. Online Lingo
Online Lingo works on the same principle as Wordle does. It differs from Wordle on two grounds: this variant also has an option to play with six letter words, and it consists of an unlimited number of games that can be played in a day. It’s known to be the simpler version of Wordle so can be played by people of all age groups.
2. WordGuessr
3. Hello Wordl
Hello Wordl come a lot closer to Wordle‘s principles than the other games. This version has a slight variation though! By using the slider given on top, you can adjust the number of letters, ranging from 4 to 11. It also allows you to challenge your friends, and it has a daily variant option for those who like singular challenges.
4. Absurdle
Absurdle is the most challenging variant of Wordle out there as its algorithm constantly changes the answer, trying to narrow down the results as much as possible. Its goal is to make the game as hard as possible for the user to guess the exact word. This is why Absurdle is often referred to as the bigger evil out of the two.
5. Wordle Archive
As the name suggests, Wordle Archive unofficially archives all the puzzles that have been posted by the original Wordle creator, Josh Wardle. You can go back a day, or select any day from the list to play that specific day’s puzzle if you missed out on any. It runs on the exact principles but has no limit to how many puzzles you solve in a day. The only downside is that it is entirely dependent on the original Wordle.
6. Word Master
An exact clone of Wordle, Word Master works on the same principle but one slight difference – the option “play again” allows you to play multiple puzzles a day. It also comes with the option to switch levels – easy, normal, and hard.
7. Wheeldle
Wheeldle is simply an experimentative version of Wordle that comes with sound effects and visual assets, like the background of Mario’s world. You can of course enjoy multiple puzzles a day here.
